Where and When I Teach

One-to-one tuition allows a Pilates teacher to physically guide and provide in-depth feedback allowing for a deeper understanding of the principles of Pilates that are applied to a programme devised for your needs and can accelerate the time it takes to get the results you want, especially helpful for recovery from injury.

One-to-one tuition at home is very popular as it can fit in better with your schedule and allows you to get into a routine of practising at home, and in comfortable familiar surroundings. All you need is enough space to lie down and be able to put your arms out to the side and above your head (without knocking anything over!)

One-to-one tuition available:

London Monday and Tuesday £50 hour
East Sussex (Brighton, Lewes, Eastbourne, Bexhill-on-Sea, Haywards Heath and Piddinghoe) Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday morning. £40/hour
or £210 block of six (£35/hour)

Group classes are a good way of discovering more about your body in a friendly environment. The maximum number of people in a class is 10 to enable me to provide more individual alignment corrections and guidance.

A general class concentrates on improving posture, strength and flexibility, and relaxation. The aim of the class is to go at a decent enough pace to create a flowing dynamic of exercises, yet take the time to explore some others a little more in depth to improve the understanding of your own body.

A gentle movement class is aimed at maintaining mobility and good postural strength. It has a slower pace than a general class and exercises can be adapted for chair use if you are unable to lie down.
